Vincent Wolf

Vincent Eugene Wolf, 76, Kansas City, Kan., passed away April 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be from 9-11am on Friday, May 17, beginning with the Rosary at Holy Family Catholic Church, 274 Orchard St, KCK. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. 

Vincent was born July 29, 1947, to Adolph and Mary Wolf, the oldest of their 10 children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Mary, sister Rosalie, brother-in-law, Bill Woodson, nephew Isa Zakeri and niece JoPat Scanlan. He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Theresa Woodson, John "Jake" Wolf (Nan), Martha Wolf- Holland, Carolyn Heinisch (Doug), Jim Wolf (Susie), Norma Wolf-Coulas (Dennis), Betty Klemencic (Steve) and Geralyn Zakeri (Behnam). Vincent had 32 nieces and nephews and many more great nieces and nephews who loved him very much. 

Vincent attended Holy Family Grade School and graduated from Bishop Ward High School. He spent four years in the United States Air Force followed by 45+ years working for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County. When asked what was most important to Vince, he would reply, “I was blessed with the Best Family, Life Long Friends as well as living on Strawberry Hill for the majority of my life.” Vincent was proud of his Heritage and being a member of Holy Family Church his entire life. He touched the lives of so many with his kind hearted nature, humility & generosity. 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Holy Family Church or St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital. We wish to express our gratitude to Kansas City Hospice and The Sister Servants of Mary who assisted the family in the final weeks of Vincent’s life.
