Stevan Ramirez, Jr. (Junie, June Bug) passed away in his sleep quietly at home on February 19, 2019 in Kansas City, Kansas. He lived a robust, memorable life. He was a man that lived his life by the mantra, "Family First" and would do anything for family and friends. Steve (Junie) was born May 11, 1942 to Stevan and Margaret Rose Ramirez in Kansas City, Kansas, and grew up in Armourdale. He lived in Kansas City, Kansas with his wife Patrice Sweet Ramirez. Junie graduated from Argentine High School, worked as clerk at the Wyandotte County Court House, and retired as a manager from Kansas City Power & Light after 40 years. Junie had over 38 years of sobriety and sponsored many others in need. He was a devoted father and friend. Junies love for his brother, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends was immeasurable but evident in his actions. You could always find Junie and his kids at Shawnee Park in Armourdale watching his Uncle Joe and cousins playing softball and then his sons. Junie, Joey, Chuckie, and Eddie spent many a Sunday in the bleachers at the Royals games with the kids, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Stevan and Margaret Rose Ramirez, his sister Teresa Rose Salazar (married to his best friend John Joe Salazar), his loving son Stevan Ramirez III, his nephew Richie Ramirez, and his niece Johnna Eubanks. He is survived in life by his wife Patrice Sweet Ramirez (Pickles), little brother Richard Paul Ramirez (Wife Mickey), daughter Julie Gall (husband Don), son Michael Ramirez (Wife Melissa), son Thomas Ramirez (Wife Kim), daughter Stacey Folsom (husband Ivan). Stevan has numerous grandchildren; Stephanie Gall, Jessica Gall, Erin Ramirez, Erica Ramirez, Selena Rose Ramirez, Dominic Ramirez, Anthony Castro, Natalie Castro, Jesse Castro III, Laura Herrera, Mikalee Garcia, Nikolas Ramirez, Shelbi Moxley, Collin Harper, Matthew Ramirez, Jesse Ramirez, Jaxon Ramirez, Viola Folsom, Bubba Folsom, great grandchildren; Cody, Elle, Liam, Evelyn, Jayden, Cameron, Ava, Faith, Toni, and Erma Carolina, and his nephews Patrick and Jimmie Ramirez, brother-in-law John Joe Salazar, and nephew Stevie Salazar. Service Details: Visitation will be Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Skradski Funeral Home 1-3pm. 340 North 6th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 25, 2019, at All Saints (formerly St. Joe/St. Benedict) at 10am. 811 Vermont Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary, Kansas City, Ks.
