Raymond 'Ray' Andrisevic

March 21, 1935 — October 2, 2018

RAYMOND (RAY) ANDRISEVIC, 83, passed away Tuesday at Kansas City Hospice House surrounded by family. Visitation is Monday, October 8, 2018, at 10AM followed by Mass at 11AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 708 N. 4th Street, KCK. A military burial is Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 10AM at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Rosemary (Feden) Andrisevic, and his two daughters, Angela Corkill (husband Scott) and Toni Melcher (husband Todd). He is preceded in death by his son, Ronald Andrisevic. Ray was a loving grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Ray was the youngest of 13 children, 7 of whom died at birth. Along with his parents, Anton and Stefania Andrisevic who immigrated to the United States from Croatia, he is preceded in death by his siblings Tony Andrisevic , Annie Burt, Barbara Dolinar, Louise Collin and Stephanie Fisher. Ray leaves behind many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Ray was a lifelong resident of KCK. He graduated from Wyandotte High School. He was drafted into the Army where he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. He retired from the Gas Service Company and enjoyed several cruises and trips with Rosemary and fun at the Ozarks. Ray was a member of St. John the Baptist Church as well as St. John the Baptist Club and a past president. He was a live member of the American Legion Post 88.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. John the Baptist Church or Kansas City Hospice House.
