Raymond A. Eskina

March 25, 1927 — April 19, 2018

Raymond A. Eskina (91) passed away peacefully on April 19, 2018. Ray was an avid outdoorsman who loved gardening, fishing and hunting. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp in his his early years and was also a proud member of the Teamsters Local 41 Union.
He is survived by his wife, Anna "Dolly" Eskina, daughters Cynthia Eskina of Kansas City, Kansas and Alisa (Eskina) Breitenstein of Wichita, Kansas, grandchildren Anne, Hugh , Elizabeth and Kathleen Breitenstein. He is also survived by his brother Frank Eskina and his sisters Florence Smarker, Wilma Plake and Joan Seck. He was preceded in death by his parents Marie Eskina and Anthony Eskina, his brothers Leon and Benjamin, and his sisters Betty Spehar, Julie Ellison and Jean Watskey. Visitation will be Monday, April 23rd from 5:00-7:00 pm at Skradski Funeral Home in Kansas City, KS. Mass is at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Kansas City, KS on Tuesday, April 24th at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
