Patricia Ann Fracol, 74, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Sat., Jan. 17 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N. 4th St., KC, KS. Entombment in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM Fri. at the church with the Rosary at 7 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Church, Resurrection School, Bishop Ward High School, or Crossroads Hospice. Pat was born in Ash Flat, Fulton County, Arkansas, Feb. 14, 1940 to William Abb and Mary Ellen (Taylor) Langston. She grew up and attended schools in Salem, Arkansas. Pat was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Strawberry Hill, its Altar Society and the St. Bernadette Circle. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Alexander Doniphan Chapter.Pat was the most loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend anyone could ever know. A woman, of great strength, she suffered most beautifully with grace and humility, despite an earthly battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She transformed the sorrow of suffering into joy by joining her own suffering to the cross of Christ. The battle has been won. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Glen and John Caleb Langston; two sisters: Betty Jean Lechleidner and Abbie Ellene DeWitt. Surviving is her sister, Armilda Lorriane (Amy) Cooper, beloved husband of 56 years, James M. Fracol; four beautiful and much loved children: James M.Jr.(Laura), Steven G.(Stacey), Diane M. Pickert and Sherri A. Ciliberti (John); six granddaughters: Jamie Myers (Daniel) Megan Fracol, Julia Pickert(Fiance' Matt), Lucy Shepard (Evan), Lori Carlin (Eric), Katie Ciliberti, and two grandsons, Garrett and Josh Fracol; and four great-grandchildren, Haylee and Landon Myers, and Michael and Caleb Carlin; also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.The family would like to acknowledge Crossroads Hospice, and especially thank her nurse, Stacey Fortin, whom she dearly loved.
