Pat Ann Novosel

Patricia Ann Novosel, 75, of Tonganoxie, KS, passed away on April 3rd, from her lifelong battle with diabetes and the long list of complications that come with this disease. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 7, with Visitation beginning at 9:00AM and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM, at St. John the Baptist, 708 N 4th, KCKS, burial to follow at Mt. Calvary, KCKS. In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie, Kansas.

Pat was pre deceased by her parents, Ernie and Louise, her sister, Mary Louise, and her brother, Tommy. She is survived by her husband, Pete, her son, Jon, her daughter, Kelly, her son-in-law, Rich, her granddaughter, Abby, and her brothers, Jim, John, and Jerry.

Pat, or "Patty" as she was known in her younger years, was the very picture of beauty, inside and out. She could light up the room with her smile, and her warm heart made anyone feel at home. Sharp as a tack, strong as a bull, patient as a Saint, loving as an angel, never boastful and always humble. Pat loved to laugh, talk, play cards, and do puzzles. She was the perfect home maker, enjoyed her plants, flowers, and moving grass on her tractor.

Always evident to her were the simple miracles in life that many of us take for granted; little birds coming near, kindness, sunshine on her face, or the cool breeze in her hair. She read much, and enjoyed cultivating the sacred garden of her heart by filling it with spiritual teachings and regularly attending mass.

Pat had also been through a great amount of suffering over the years, but always dealt with it with amazing grace.
A daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a dear family member and friend to so manyshe lived wellshe will be missed.

Pat is now Home, where there is no more suffering, and we can hardly wait until that great day we get to see and hug her again.
