Milan Gasparovic, 84, of Kansas City, KS, passed away September 24, 2018. Visitation is Thursday, September 27th from 5-7 PM with rosary at 6:30 PM at Skradski Funeral Home, 340 N. 6th Street, Kansas City, KS. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday September 28th at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N. 4th St, KCK. Burial to follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in KCK.
Milan was born in Modrus, Croatia, and immigrated to the United States in 1961. He retired from the KCK Housing Authority. Milan was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a member of St. Johns Senior Citizens Club, St. Johns Mens Club, and the Croatian American Social Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Ana Gasparovic, his siblings Marija Turkalj, Walter Gasparovic, and Draga Tokic. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary; three daughters, Susan (Steven) Desch, Anita Gasparovic, and Dr. Nancy Gasparovic; his sisters, Ljerka Rendulic and Millie Squibb; as well as brother- and sister-in laws, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Strawberry Hill Museum.
