Michael Dennis Daugherty

Michael Dennis Daugherty, Ottawa, Kansas passed away on July 19, 2023.

He was born on July 20, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Lyman and Mary (Kosorog) Daugherty. Michael grew up in a nurturing environment that emphasized the importance of education. He graduated from Rockhurst High School and from Kansas State University. Armed with a solid academic foundation, he embarked on a career in the Federal Government, where he held numerous positions over the years.

Michael is survived by his siblings: Patrick (Patricia), Marianne Sieg, Sister Marie Kathleen, and Margaret. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews who will forever cherish their memories of him.

He was preceded by his parents and brother-in-law Karl Sieg.

Private Burial will be at Gate of Heaven in Kansas City, Kansas.
