Mary Lou Zukel, 99, passed away peacefully on August 30th, 2017 at the Hospice of Olathe Medical Center. Visitation will be 9 to 10 AM, Tuesday September 5th at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 1086 N. 90th, KCK followed by the celebration of Mass with Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mary Lou was born December 15, 1917, in Kansas City, Kansas to Marko and Mary (Sambol) Bosiljevac. She was a member of United Food & Commercial Workers District Union Local Two retiring in 1977. Mary Lou enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Al and the fellowship provided by the St. Patricks Shamrock club.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband Albert of 75 years, her parents and sister, Anna. She is survived by her son Robert and daughter-in-law Darlene Zukel; two grandchildren, Peter (Carmen) and Lynne (Robert) Cobin and three great grandchildren, Alexandria, Tyler and Charles Cobin.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Hospice of Olathe Medical Center. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.skradskifh-kc.com
