Mark Allen Winner

July 14, 1970 — March 31, 2021

Mark Allen Winner, 50, of Kansas City, Kan., died unexpectedly in the home March 31, 2021.
At the moment of his passing, Mark was watching a soccer match. Mark enjoyed many sports, but cheered loudest for his Jayhawks. His other great interest was cooking. From the Iron Chef to the Great British Baking Show, he liked to learn about different techniques and try them out in the kitchen. Mark loved to have fun, which included attending local concerts, festivals, and any and all of his nieces' and nephew's school activities. He was devoted to his family and was happiest when spending time with them.
Mark was a lifelong Kansas City, Kan. resident. He was a loyal Bishop Ward Cyclone and a parishioner of Christ the King Church. He loved all things Irish and was proud of his heritage.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen; his brother, Steven and wife Joann (ne Davis); his sister Christine Winner Ferhat; his nieces Rachel Winner and Yasmine Ferhat; and his nephew Timothy Winner. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald.
