Marica Dukovcic, 71 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 10th, beginning with a Visitation at 9:00 AM with Mass of Christian Burial Following at 10:00AM both at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N. 4th Kansas City, KS. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Kansas City, KS.
Marica was born September 27, 1951 in Mrzljaki, Croatia to Ivan and Katica (Andrisevic) Broz. She married Stjepan Dukovcic in 1974 in Karlovac, Croatia and they were blessed with a son Branimir in 1976. The family came to the United States in 1980 and settled in Kansas City, Kansas. Marica worked at IDI and Conagra. Marica is survived by her husband Stjepan, two sisters, Barica and Katica Vrbanic, both in Croatia. Her sister-in-law Ana Piskuric, brother-in-law Juro (Barbara) Dukovcic and Ljubica Lukac and many cousins. Preceding her were her son, Branimir, brothers, Josip, Mijo, I Janko, and sister Ljubica.
