Margaret K Struzzo

Margaret Katherine Sullivan Struzzo, 83 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away peacefully at home (exactly where she wanted to) surrounded by Family, Grover the groundhog, a host of cardinals, a feisty blue jay and woodpecker that have been keeping her company on June 5, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 10, at 11:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St, Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7PM with Rosary at 7PM also at the church. Burial to follow Mass in St. Joseph Cemetery, Shawnee, KS. Margaret graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1956. She attended St. Teresa of Avila now Avila University. She graduated with a BS in chemistry in 1960 and received a Masters in Elementary Education in 1966 from KU. She will be remembered best by 23 years of USD 500 former students, multiple inserts in greeting cards and her straw hat. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Gertrude Sullivan of Shawnee, KS and her husband of 41 years Frank Struzzo. She is survived by her daughter, Molly (Kike), son Pat (Rachel), grandchildren; Ashley, Reese, Mauricio and Romeo, brothers; Tim, Mike, Bill and Bo Sullivan, sisters; Mary Chirpich, Rita Heath, and Helen Hopkins. She also leaves behind a multitude of cherished friends including two very special friends, Jim and Betty who were faithful to the end.
