Louise Mufich Lisac, age 103, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020. Louise was born on March 5, 1917, to John and Mary Mufich. She was predeceased by her husband John Lisac, and siblings: Joseph, Helen, Harry, John, Mary, Augustine, Frank, Caroline, Donald, and Henry. Louise is survived by her devoted daughter: Geraldine Stitt, Elaine Elliott; younger brothers: Edward Mufich, Paul Mufich; and beloved grandsons: Rick Stitt,and Loren Stitt. Louise was a life long member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She also belonged to St. John's Altar Society and KC Democratic Club. Louis entered the workforce full time at the age of 16 to help support her family. She was first employed at the National Paper Box Company. While her husband served in the Army, she worked at the Army Medical Depot. Later she was employed by the Ward Paper Box Company. She retired in 1966. Louise enjoyed gardening, baking povatica and strudel, crocheting as well as reading the newspaper daily. She was an avid Royals and Jeopardy fan. She loved vacationing in Colorado. Mass will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 North 4th St, KCK, on Friday May 22 at 10:30AM followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1150 North 38th St, KCK. Family requests donations be made to St. John the Baptist in lieu of flowers.
