LEON JAREMKO, 87, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Shawnee Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, June 28, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home, 340 N. 6th St. KC,KS. with a Prayer Service and a remembrance ceremony beginning at 5:30PM. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held 12:30, Mon., June 29, at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Donations may be made in Leons memory to the Alzheimers Assoc.
Leon was born Feb. 9, 1928 to Dmitro and Mary (Kuzma) Jaremko. He was employed by General American Transportation Corp. He was a former member of St. Joseph/St. Benedict Church(All Saints Parish). Preceding him in death were his parents; Brother: William; sister: Pauline Mathews; and son, James Jaremko. He is survived by his four children: Mark and wife, Kyra, Mike and wife, Kim, Terry and wife, Gail, Lisa Sexton and husband, Gary; brother: Joseph Jaremko , and wife, Joey; seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
