Keith was born in Kansas City, Kansas and was baptized at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He went to Blessed Sacrament elementary school, and then attended Saint Agnes when the family moved to Fairway, KS in 1970.
He graduated from Bishop Miege High School in 1975 and from Kansas State University in 1979. He worked in distribution at a number of different companies throughout his career, most often in a managerial role. Keith was a long time member of St. Elizabeth Catholic church, where he served the parish in his role as an usher at masses.
He was a thoughtful, kind man who was very generous to others. He maintained a vegetable garden in his back yard, with the main purpose of sharing his bounty with co-workers and neighbors. Keith enjoyed gardening, woodworking and finding treasures at garage sales.
He is survived by his brothers Eric Martincich (Mary Jo) and Carl Martincich (Diane), his sister Diane Schwartz (Bill), 8 nieces, 1 nephew, and some great nieces and nephews too. A Visitation in Keith's honor will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Skradski Funeral Home, 340 N. 6th St, Kansas City, KS 66101 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:45pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 2 E. 75th St, Kansas City, MO 64114, on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, with a luncheon to follow immediately after Mass at the church parish hall. After the luncheon, the burial will occur at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 8300 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215.
