Josephine (Houser) Rozich, 93, passed away September 23, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1pm Thursday, September 29th at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice Partners of Kansas, 10500 Barkley St., Suite 228, Overland Park, KS 66212.
Josephine was born May 7, 1923 in Coweta, OK to Otha Alvin and Sylvia Houser. She moved to Kansas City, KS in 1946 to work for Phillips Petroleum. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir, a member of the Wyandotte County Historical Society and Friends of the Library. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Rozich and four sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Ferbezar and husband Steve; granddaughter, Natalie Ferbezar; a brother, Jack Houser; sisters, Louise Gibson and Annabelle Harris.
