The Visitation for Josephine will take place on Tuesday, February 27th at 9:00am, followed by a Rosary at 9:30 am, and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Christ the King Church, 85th and Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO. Entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery following the services.
Josephine was born May 25, 1930, in Kansas City, MO to John and Agnes Siniawski. She worked for Inter-Collegiate Press for many years and ended her career as the Book Store Manager at Avila College when she retired to take care of her mother.
Josephine was a member of Christ the King Church for most of her adult life. She loved to dance and enjoyed instructing a line dancing class for several years, but polka dancing was her favorite and she would shine on the dance floor. Josephine enjoyed traveling all over the world but when at home, enjoyed being with neighbors, friends and family. She never had children of her own but was a huge influence in all her nieces, nephews and cousins lives who loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 69 years, Albert E. Pavich; her parents; her sister Helen Harms; brother Albert Siniawski; nephew Albert Siniawski Jr. and great nephew Joseph Muder. Josephine is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Strawberry Hill Museum at https://strawberryhillmuseum.org/memorial/ or Kansas City Hospice at https://www.kchospice.org/donation/
The family would like to thank the staff at Linden Woods Village for taking such good care of Josephine the past three years as well as Kansas City Hospice.
