John Billaci

John Billaci, 92 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Sunday morning, December 27th during the glorious sunrise, at his home surrounded by his family. There will no services at this time due to Covid 19. The family requests no flowers.
John leaves behind his loving wife, Frances of 68 years; his children John (Clare) Billaci, Gerald (Elaine) Billaci, Diane (Mike) Kane, Carol (John) Fultz and Robert of the home, Grandchildren; Michael (Terri) Kane II, Dominic (Denise) Billaci, Meghan (Derek) Miller, Andrea (Will) Doty, Vincent Billaci, Cara (Caleb) Noll, Phillip (Aundrea) Billaci, Great grandchildren; Kinsley, Chesney, Andrew, Austin, Cruciano, Alexia, Martin, Morghan, Ryann, Julia, Lucas, Adeline, Grace, Isabella, Blakely and Brentley.
John worked 44 years as an upholsterer at Simmons Mattress Company. He served as President of its Local Union. John served in the Air Force during the Korean War, was an avid baseball player; a stellar second baseman and played fast-pitch softball long into his 60s. John was down to earth, never said a harsh word about people, kind and generous, a wonderful loving Father and Grandfather. He was an outstanding cook and the best husband. Frances knows he is up in heaven dancing to Glenn Millers "In the Mood" practicing for her when they get to swing dance again.
