John Augustine Oropeza Jr, 67, beloved brother of Patricia, Dolores, Anthony, Herlinda, Sophia, Steven, Cheryl, Raymond, and Rebecca, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at his home. Burial Service will be Tuesday, 1:00 PM, February 24, 2015 at St. Joseph Chapel in the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 1150 N. 38th, KCKS. Johns wish was to have his final place of rest with his mother, Virginia.
John was born May 7, 1947 to John and Virginia (Diaz) Oropeza in Kansas City, Kan. Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters, Emily Light and Alice Oropeza and brother Nick Oropeza. Surviving him are his siblings, Patricia Pourazari, Dolores Perez, Anthony Oropeza, Herlinda Hernandez, Sophia Hollister Crowley, Steven Oropeza, Cheryl Smally, Raymond Oropeza, Rebecca Oropeza, 29 nieces and nephews, and 48 great nieces and nephews.
