JoAnn M. Bidnick, 73 of Bonner Springs, KS, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, March 26, 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5501 Monticello Rd. Shawnee, KS. Burial following in Gate of Heaven, KCKS. Visitation will be Sunday, March 25, 3:00 to 5:00 PM with Rosary following at St. James Academy, 24505 Prairie Star Pkwy, Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. James Academy.
JoAnn was born in Kansas City, MO, on November 22, 1944 to James and Margaret (Bennett) Hadden. She attended Loretto Academy for high school & St. Marys in Leavenworth for nursing school. JoAnn was a loving mother, grandmother and devout Catholic. She loved KU basketball & attending her grandchildrens sporting events.
JoAnn is survived by her four children: Brett, Susan (John) Kubicki, Michael (Stephanie) and Joanna (Bobby) Homolka, nine grandchildren: Mara, Hadley, and Jillian Kubicki: Emerson, Brady and Macy Bidnick and John Henry, Sam and Hayden Homolka and one sister, Judy Osteen. She is preceded by her parents and Joseph Bidnick II.
