Helen A. Gorman,92, passed away Thurs., Feb. 19, 2015 at Life Care Center in KC,KS. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Thur., Feb. 26 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at the church. Donations are suggested to the church or to the Strawberry Hill Museum.Helen was born Oct. 4, 1922 to Joseph J. and Eva (Bicsak) Yarmek in KC, KS. She was a member of St. John's and worked as a seamstress during World War II and after that at Western Binding until her retirement.Preceding her in death was her husband, Nicholas A. Gorman in 1963 and brother, Joseph N. Yarmek and sister, Kathleen Bucan. She is survived by her nephew: Mark Yarmek.
