Dragica Jambrosic, 93, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away April 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be at 9:00am Monday, May 5, 2025, followed by the rosary at 10:00am and Mass at 10:30am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N. Fourth Street, Kansas City, Ks 66101.Dragica was born July 28, 1931, the daughter of Josip & Milka (Krznaric) Grdinovac, in Zaluka, Croatia. She married Nikola Jambrosic in 1949, and together they shared 40 years of marriage and raised three daughters. In 1980, Dragica and Nikola moved to Kansas City, where she worked and later retired from IDI Electronic Company. Dragica was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the altar society. Dragica lived her life rooted in faith and family. She took great joy in baking povitica, strudels and cookies, tending to her garden, watching her favorite shows (Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, General Hospital and the Chiefs), and especially cooking meals for her family and cherishing their time together.Dragica was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nikola; infant sister Zlatica Grdinovac; brother Rudolf (Ljubica) Grdinovac; son-in-laws Branko Brinc and Tony Brinc, and grandson-in-law Paul Logan. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Dragica (Adam) Novosel, Ljubica Brinc, Nada Brinc; grandchildren: Irena Logan, Romana (Bojan) Segina, Kathy (Dan) Trehey, Tony (Maja) Brinc, Branka (Matej) Brinc-Jeznik; eleven great-grandchildren; nephews Josip (Ana) Grdinovac and Rude (Sandra) Grdinovac; as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Healthcare Resort and Providence Medical Center for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.Dragica’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family.
