Donna Rose Grosko (Kovac) 72 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on September 8th, 2022. Donna was born on November 13,1949 to Rosemary & Albert J Kovac in Kansas City Kansas. She was a beloved sister, aunt, mother and Nana to her family. Donna graduated from Ward High School in 1968. She then worked at Peters Drive-in for several years. She met the love of her life Richard L Grosko in 1985 and they were married May 19, 1986. She took on the role of bonus mother to Richard's three daughters. They loved to travel to New York, Montana, South Dakota and other places seeing the world. Her favorite place to visit when traveling was to a Hard Rock Cafe. She even had a jacket full of pins from each Hard Rock. Donna was very involved in Rich's photography business, and was always there to set up backdrops and take orders. She later worked for GE and Bayer Animal Health in the customer service department. She greeted everyone she met with a smile and never met a stranger.

She learned to make Povitica from her mother-in-law Helen Grosko and made the family recipe perfectly. She was known to always have enough povitica to share and sell, and it became a staple at every family gathering. Donna was an avid collector of anything Hallmark. She shared this love with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who could always count on a Hallmark ornament at Christmas time. The Holidays were always a special time for Donna as she would take all of her grandchildren to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Concert every year. Her grandchildren loved their "Nana" fiercely and loved staying at her house for sleepovers and making povitica together.

Donna was also an avid dog lover and treated her "furbabies" like they were her children. She and Richard had four basset hounds (Thumper, Daisy, Duke, and Earl) and two jack russel terriers (Flash and Photo).

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard L Grosko, her parents Rosemary Evans-Kovac & Albert J Kovac, and nephew Kyle Kovac .

She is survived by her brothers Lawrence Kovac, James Kovac (Charlotte), Mandy Votachatzer, Megan Ores, Jamie Struss, Robert Kovac (Sheryl) Sara Riley (Geoff), Susie Harding (Ben) Kendra Kovac and her sisters Nina Ziegler (Mike), and Margie Ohl (Fred) Katie Ohl. Children Heather Delaney (Michael), Richelle Hernandez (Eligio), and Gina Julian (Jared). Her grandchildren Jordan, Logan, and Landon Delaney, Elia and Nikolas Hernandez, Joriee Seykora, Alex, Andie, and Abigail Rau, and Ashlyn Julian. She is also survived by too many nieces and nephews to list.
