David Kovac

David M. Kovac, 83, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024. Funeral services for David will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N. 4th, Kansas City Kansas, on April 22nd, 2024, with a Visitation from 9:00am-10:00am, Mass at 10:00am, and burial following Mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City Kansas.

David was born August 1st, 1940, in Kansas City, Kansas to Steven and Sophia (Bert) Kovac. David was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served his country proudly. Throughout his life David was a member of many charitable clubs and Veterans organizations, including the Knights of Columbus and the Disabled American Veterans. David was known throughout his community as a very kindhearted person who never hesitated to help anyone in need. David was a dedicated son to his Mother Sophia and provided care for her until her passing at 103 years of age. David always remembered his friends and family during holidays and birthdays with little gifts he would send. He was quite a family historian as well, always ready with a story about how the family arrived in Kansas City and the connections to many relatives throughout the area.

David was preceded in death by his mother Sophie and his father Steven. He is survived by many friends and family who loved him dearly and will miss him very much.
