David James Gray

David James Gray, 68, of Kansas City, MO passed away on August 29, 2017. The rosary will be prayed at 5:30 pm Tuesday, Sept. 5th at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO followed by visitation at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2 East 75th St., Kansas City, MO. Interment with military honors will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. David was born on September 6, 1948 to James and Ruby (Hiner) Gray. He attended Bishop Ward High School and Donnelly College. He enlisted in the Army and served in Vietnam. He was a financial advisor with Waddell and Reed.David is survived by his wife, Julie Gray; three children; Christine Evanson (Christopher), Jeffrey Gray (Mary Grace), Todd Gray (Stephanie); his five grandchildren; Harlow Gray, Mason and Hunter Gray, Ryan and Holly Evanson; three brothers; Jim Gray (Lorenda), Gary Gray (Beth), Bill Gray (Diane) and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to KU Med Center or V.A. Medical Center. Services under the direction of Skradski Funeral Home, Kansas City, KS, and Muehlebach Funeral Care, Kansas City, MO.
