Daria Jesus Taylor

Daria Jesus Armenta Taylor, 73, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Port Mansfield, TX. Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 9:00-10:00 AM, with Mass of Christian Burial following at Holy Family Catholic Church, 274 Orchard St. KCKS. Burial to at Mt. Calvary, KCKS.
She was born May 31, 1943 to Benito and Socorro (Mejia) Armenta in Kansas City, Kansas. Daria and her husband James "Jimmy" Taylor were actively involved with Holy Family and its many festivals. She was proud of belonging to the Womens Auxiliary Group at church before moving to Harlingen, TX.
Daria is survived by her husband, eight siblings; Nati, Tino, Condy, Ben, Manny, Ralph, Felipe, and Becky, four sons; James Jr., Jon, Brian Taylor and adopted son Denzel Johnson and daughters; Teresa Kuehn and Veronica Madsen; 26 Grandchildren and 1 Great-granddaughter.
