March 28, 1958 — June 29, 2021

Cheryl Diane Stimach was born on March 28th, 1958 at Providence Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. She grew up in KCK and attended St. Patricks Grade School then Bishop Ward High School, graduating in 1976. Attended Kansas State University and graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics and Family/Child Development. She then went on to earn a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education.
One of her proudest accomplishments was opening the Daycare Center at St. Patricks Church. After serving as Director of the center for several years, she accepted her next challenge, opening up and serving as Director of the Early Childhood Education Center at Christ the King Parish in Topeka, Kansas. After several years there she returned to her home to become a Kindergarten teacher at St. Patricks School. She taught there with a passion until re-occurring health problems called her back to the Lord.
Cheryls passion was being with family and friends, but, most of all, teaching and being around her students. She left her mark on the community and will remain in the hearts of many for years to come.
Cheryl was preceded in life by her Father, Albert J. Stimach. She is survived by her Mother, Dorothy Jean Stimach, siblings Jean Dobbie, Albert J. Stimach Jr., John G. Stimach, and Elizabeth Stoker. "Aunt Cher" leaves behind 14 nieces and nephews, and 18 great nieces and nephews.
