Bernice Janet Camlic,
Bernice was born December 2nd, 1934 and went to see the Lord on February 25th, 2017. Bernice served as a Nun, for 30 years, at St. John's Orphanage in the Strawberry Hill section of old Kansas City, Kansas. St. John's is now a museum and has a picture of Bernice on the wall with other serving Franciscan Sisters of the faith. She left the nun service and married August Richard Camlic Jr. in 1979. Her and Richard were joyfully married and lived in Independence, Mo until his Richard's passing in September 27th, 2008. Bernice left Independence in March of 2012 and moved into Our lady Of Mercy Country Home in Liberty, Missouri. Our Lady of Mercy Country Home was established and is run by Mercedarian Sisters.
Bernice established many new friendships at Our Lady of Mercy and was involved in many events and activities. She will be missed by many old friends from Independence, as well as friendships from Our lady Mercy Country home.
