Bernice B. Lofgren

Bernice B. Lofgren, 93, passed away Wed. March 25, 2015 at Sunrise of Lenexa. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Monday, March 30 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Shawnee), 5901 Flint, Shawnee,KS with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to SPCA (animal rights).
Bernice was born Nov. 2, 1921 to John P. and Agnes (Baltuska) Girnis in K. C., KS. She worked at Luzere Cosmetic Co. and following that as an Insurance Adjuster for John Hancock Co. She was dedicated to her church and loved animals.
Preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Anne Girnis. She is survived by cousins; Mary Ann Baltuska, and Kathy Langley and many other cousins, and "Thomas."
