Barbara (Krupich) Turley

Barbara Krupich Turley, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Born on March 23, 1937, to James Lloyd and Barbara (Mikesich) Molder, she was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas. Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Bishop Ward High School and a member of St John the Baptist Catholic Church. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Aux. and a member of the Military Order of the Cootie Aux. for which she served as the Supreme President. 1998 – 1999.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children, John Krupich, Barbara and Jay Guengerich; grandchildren Jayson and Sarah Guengerich, Brian and Angela Guengerich; great-grandchildren Ella Palermo, Easton Guengerich; sister Mary Waliczek, and many dear nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and husbands Richard G. Krupich and Daythel A Turley.

Services will be held at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N 4th St, Kansas City, KS 66101, on Monday August 21, 2023. The rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m. then visitation, followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Strawberry Hill Museum and Cultural Center, 720 N 4th St, Kansas City, KS 66101.
