Barbara Ann Lamprecht

Barbara Ann Lamprecht (81) of Nevada, Missouri gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Barbara was born April 14, 1941 in Hale, Missouri to Clarence Russell Ward and Effie Mae (Dillamon)Ward. She was raised in Kansas City, KS and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1959. She later attended Kansas City Kansas Community College and graduated in 1991. She married Wesley Willis Wickam in 1958 and to this union had three children. In 1996, she married Hubert (Hans) Lamprecht and gained three children. She worked as a secretary for the Army in Fort Leavenworth for 20 years and retired in 2004. She enjoyed spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and numerous dogs. She also enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting, which she loved to gift her family and friends.

She was proceeding in death by her parents: Clarence and Effie Ward, her two sisters: Fern Kropf and Mildred Noah. Husband, Wesley Willis Wickam. Daughter: Staci Marie Wickam, and her son: Wesley (Duke) Ward Wickam.

She leaves behind her husband, Hubert (Hans) Lamprecht of the home. Sister in law, Mary Alice Brown of Basehor, Kansas. Brother in law, Albert Wickam of Shawnee, Kansas. Her son, Dwane Edward Wickam and wife Sonni of Riverview, Florida. Daughter Maria Kathleen and husband Randal Griffiths of Basehor, Kansas. Donald Joe and wife Stacie Hudson of Platte City, Missouri. Daughter, Stephanie Ann and husband Steven Lyon of Nevada, Missouri. Grandchildren Axl Wickam, Zachary Wickam, Zane Wickam, Lukus Wickam, Johann (Hansi) Hudson, Stephen Hudson, Jimmy Winkler, Sarah Winkler, Brittney Abernathy, Lane Lyon, Landon Winkler, and numerous great grandchildren.

Family will receive family and friends on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:00 am at Skradski Funeral Home located at 340 N. 6th St, Kansas City, Kansas. Followed by a Catholic Memorial.

Graveside services to follow, held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas at 1:00 pm.
