Anthony P. Smarekar, 95, of Kansas City, KS passed away on January 24, 2026 at Providence Hospital. Graveside Services will be at 11:00am, Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 38th and State Ave, Kansas City, Kansas. 

Anthony, served his country in the Army and in the Army Reserve. He worked for Owens Corning for 18 years and Jorgensen Steel for 36 years. He had a passion for bowling and loved being out on calm water with a fishing rod in his hand. Faith was a large part of Anthony's life as he was a devout Catholic. 

He is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Anthony leaves behind close friends and several Nieces and Nephews.
