Anthony F. Peresic

Anthony F. Peresic, 91, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Accura Healthcare in Knoxville, IA. Visitation will be 9-10AM Tuesday, February 5, with Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N. 4th, KCK. Burial to follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery, KCK. In lieu of flowers donations to St. John the Baptist Church would be appreciated. Anthony was born June 14, 1927, to Michael and Mary (Jurkovich) Peresic in Kansas City, KS. He attended St. Johns Grade School and was employed by Crooks Paper Box Company of North Kansas City, MO. Anthony was a World War II, U.S. Navy, Seaman 1st Class Veteran who served 14 months receiving ribbons signifying the U.S. World War II Victory, the American theater and the Asian-Pacific theater. Preceding him in death were his brothers: John, Peter, Michael, Joseph, Daniel and Nick Peresic and sisters: Catherine Jankovich, Rose Fajdetich, and Helen Samskey. He is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Peresic. Anthony, you will be missed and thank you for your military duty served allowing us our freedom. It is your time to rejoin your sisters and brothers in heaven.
