Zorka Malic

Zorka Malic, 61 of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Kansas City Hospice House after a hard fought battle with Bile Duct Cancer. Visitation will be Friday, July 30, from 9-10AM with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Zorka was born August 22, 1959 in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina to Ranko and Milosava (Jefic) Marceta. She and her husband Ivica had two boys, Zoran and Toni. They moved to the States November 6, 1997 for a better life. Zorka was the bank bone of the family, she took care of everything and everyone. Ivica passed suddenly in 2012 and Zorka became everything to her family. She was always there to take care of her children and grandchildren. Zorka was a Nature lover, anything outside made her smile. Visiting the mountains and hiking trails were her favorite hobbies.
Surviving Zorka are her children; Zoran Malic, and Toni (Mirela) Malic, grandchildren; Adyan, Lindsey, Ilijana, Ivan and Ilana, sisters; Nevenka and Koviljka and brother, Stojan. Preceding were her husband Ivica, parents and two brothers.
