Genevieve Silady, 97, passed away July 11, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospice House. The rosary will be prayed at 9 a.m. Friday, July 15th, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5250 Mission Rd., Roeland Park, Kansas followed by visitation and Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will be Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Agnes Church. Genevieve was born January 1, 1919, in Kansas City, Kan., to Anna M. (Sachen) and Alexander A. Silady. She worked as an executive secretary for Touche & Ross. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Alexander F. Silady and Martin F. Silady, and four sisters, Catherine F. Silady, Christine A. Silady, Bernice M. Silady, and Mary Ann Silady. She is survived by a sister, Jean A. Gleason, Roeland Park, Kan., nieces and nephews, Dr. Fred A. Silady, San Diego, Calif., John A. Silady, Atlanta, Ga., Patrick F. Silady, Niles, Ill., Michael F. Silady, Waukasha, Wis., Dr. Mark F. Silady, New Orleans, La., Kathleen Tosh, Honolulu, Hawaii, Marsha Silady, Long Beach, Calif., James T.
